About Us

Ambit was established in 2006 and has become one of the leading trade park developers in the UK. The Ambit team has been at the forefront of the trade sector from its inception in the late 1990’s, initially as part of the successful Trade Centre Developments (TCD) joint venture. During this period trusted relationships have been forged with key occupiers and a clear understanding of planning requirements has been attained as the ‘use’ has evolved.

Whilst trade remains the core focus of Ambit, the company has expanded into other largely roadside sectors, including retail warehousing, car dealerships, hotels, self storage, residential and general industrial.

Joint venture partners to date include, Kames Capital, Aviva Investors, Tarncourt Properties and The Rex Group.

Ambit was set up by four partners, sadly John Knight passed away early 2015. He made a huge contribution to the company and is missed as a dear friend and colleague.
